Responsibilities

Execute outbound outreach across email, LinkedIn DMs, and warm introductions to identify and engage potential sponsors
Reply quickly and professionally to inbound inquiries and convert interest into active opportunities
Build strong relationships with brand partnership directors, marketing officers, and sales directors
Pitch sponsorship and partnership opportunities clearly and confidently to senior decision makers
Customize messaging based on sponsor type, industry, and objectives while keeping a premium tone
Manage follow up sequences and deal progression from first contact through signed agreement
Track outreach, conversations, and deal stages in Google Sheets or CRM style workflows
Use ChatGPT to draft, refine, and iterate sponsor outreach, pitch angles, and follow up messages
Provide feedback on which sponsor profiles, value propositions, and messaging are converting best

Required

Proven experience in business development, partnerships, or sponsorship sales
Strong outbound experience using email and LinkedIn as primary channels
Comfortable getting on virtual sales calls with camera on and presenting professionally
Excellent written and verbal communication with short, confident, relevant messaging
Comfort speaking with senior decision makers and handling objections naturally
Hands on experience using ChatGPT in daily workflows for outreach, personalization, and deal support
Highly organized with strong follow through and attention to detail

Preferred

Experience selling sponsorships for events, media, communities, or B2B platforms
Relationships with marketing tech companies and B2B tech companies
Familiarity with testing messaging angles and value propositions
Comfort working in a fast moving, high standards environment
