Conducting thorough inspections and accuracy assessments of weighing and measuring instruments utilized in commercial transactions

Examining commodities that are packaged, sold, or offered for sale based on weight, measure, or count, ensuring compliance with established standards

Performing audits of inspections carried out by Certified Examiners of Weights and Measures to verify their adherence to regulatory requirements

Investigating any allegations of fraud or abuse related to these practices, taking appropriate enforcement actions when necessary to uphold integrity and fairness in the marketplace

Required

Four years of public contact work, including one year of experience in weights and measures inspections; and graduation from high school

You must be able to perform essential job functions
