Responsibilities
Serve as the main point of contact (POC) for clients and internal stakeholders across multiple projects, ensuring alignment on goals, timelines, and deliverables
Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project plans and GANTT charts that track milestones, dependencies, and resource allocation
Regularly track and report on project KPIs, including progress metrics, risk registers, and issue logs, providing actionable insights and escalation where necessary
Prepare and deliver clear, concise status reports and dashboards for clients and senior management on a weekly or bi-weekly basis
Coordinate scheduling and communication across teams, managing late evening and early morning calls to accommodate different time zones
Proactively identify potential risks and roadblocks, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop mitigation strategies that ensure project continuity
Facilitate stakeholder meetings, drive decision-making processes, and manage expectations to maintain strong, trust-based client relationships
Utilize project management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Asana, or equivalent platforms for real-time project tracking and communication
Leverage communication tools, including Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Slack, and email, to ensure transparency and responsiveness
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5+ years of experience as an Alliance Manager, Project Manager, or in a closely related client-facing role, working directly with biotech companies, pharmaceutical companies, and/or Contract Research Organizations (CROs), with demonstrated ownership of complex, multi-stakeholder projects
Highly polished, relationship-oriented professional with a proven ability to build strong working relationships across internal project teams and senior pharmaceutical stakeholders, serving as a trusted day-to-day partner and point of coordination
Strong working knowledge of AI and advanced analytics in life sciences, including familiarity with industry terminology, tools, and data-driven development workflows
Proven track record managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects involving large biotech clients, pharmaceutical clients, and/or CROs
Strong proficiency with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Asana) and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, a plus)
Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with a demonstrated ability to keep projects on time and within scope
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, particularly for remote coordination and reporting
Ability to anticipate challenges and implement solutions proactively, demonstrating strong critical thinking
Flexibility to manage communications across multiple time zones
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, Project Management, or related discipline preferred
Currently working within a large pharmaceutical organization, with firsthand experience navigating big-pharma operating models, governance structures, and cross-functional project environments
