Responsibilities
Oversee the legal entity controlling function within DBS Bank, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
Manage the establishment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of legal entity structures, including subsidiaries, branches, and representative offices
Coordinate with various business units and support functions to ensure the accurate and timely reporting of legal entity information
Provide guidance and support to business units on legal entity-related matters, such as incorporation, restructuring, and dissolution
Collaborate with the legal and compliance teams to identify and mitigate legal and regulatory risks associated with the bank's legal entity structure
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and controls to ensure the integrity and reliability of legal entity data
Represent the bank in regulatory and industry forums related to legal entity management and control
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, or a related field, with a strong understanding of the banking industry
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in legal entity management, compliance, or a similar role within the banking or financial services industry
Thorough knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices related to legal entity controlling, including familiarity with relevant laws and regulations
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex legal entity-related issues
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Proficient in the use of relevant software and data management tools for legal entity data management and reporting
Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage a team of professionals
