Assistant Project Manager

Responsibilities
Support the overall management of project activities and deliverables throughout the project life cycle
Prepare, maintain, and distribute project reports and contract-related documents
Recommend and assist with continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements
Perform general office administration functions to support project operations
Set up work orders within the MRP system
Review and submit timesheets to payroll
Claim production units and maintain related tracking
Enter purchase requisitions and monitor purchase order spend
Collect subcontractor and material tickets for accrual
Prepare and process project invoices
Attend department project/financial meetings and provide updates as required
Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and accurate project documentation
Utilize MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) for reporting, tracking, and communication
Qualification
Required
2–5 years of general office administration experience
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and strong teamwork orientation
High school diploma or equivalent required
Preferred
Exposure to a construction or utility field office environment preferred
Some college or advanced coursework preferred
