Responsibilities
Lead, maintain, and continuously improve the site Quality Management System
Ensure ongoing compliance with international quality standards including:
VDA 6.3
ISO 9001
IATF 16949
Develop and maintain quality procedures, SOPs, work instructions, and documentation
Ensure document control, audit readiness, and regulatory alignment
Plan and execute internal audits and support external customer and certification audits
Manage audit preparation, findings, corrective actions, and closure verification
Maintain audit records and continuous compliance tracking
Lead customer quality issue response, root cause analysis, and corrective / preventive actions
Apply structured problem-solving methodologies including:
8D
5-Why
Fishbone (Ishikawa)
FMEA
Control Plans
Coordinate cross-functional containment, corrective actions, and effectiveness verification
Interface directly with customers on quality matters as required
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and quality processes
Analyze quality data, KPIs, and trends to identify improvement opportunities
Support quality training and capability development for production and engineering teams
Promote a strong quality culture and disciplined execution across the organization
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or higher in science, engineering, manufacturing, or quality-related discipline
Minimum seven (7) years of quality-related experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
Hands-on experience managing Quality Management Systems and audit programs
Strong working knowledge of VDA 6.3, ISO 9001, and IATF 16949 standards
Proven experience leading structured problem-solving and corrective action processes
Experience managing customer quality claims and cross-functional resolution activities
Strong analytical, documentation, and organizational skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management capability
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Preferred
Internal auditor certification (IATF / ISO)
Experience in battery materials, chemical manufacturing, automotive, or high-reliability manufacturing environments
Experience supporting Tier-1 OEM or global OEM customer quality requirements
Experience working in multinational or cross-cultural organizations
