Billing & Administrative Specialist (Part-Time)
Senior Helpers of Geneva is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Billing & Administrative Specialist to join their growing home care team. This role is essential in supporting billing operations, client follow-ups, and referral coordination.
Health Care
Responsibilities
Handle client billing and invoicing
Follow up with clients regarding outstanding balances and payment collection
Communicate with insurance providers and manage insurance and VA payments
Make outbound calls to clients for billing and payment follow-ups
Track and follow up on leads and referrals
Coordinate with new prospect clients and set up assessments, including dementia-related services
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Support administrative tasks as needed and work closely with the team
Qualification
Required
Previous experience in billing or administrative roles
Strong follow-up and organizational skills
Comfortable making phone calls and communicating with clients and partners
Ability to learn and navigate home health care systems
Detail-oriented, dependable, and a strong team player
Preferred
Experience in home health care or senior services is a plus
