Vice President of Sales (Services or Software)

They are seeking a seasoned Vice President of Sales to lead their sales strategy and execution, build a high-performing sales team, and drive growth by expanding their enterprise footprint.

Responsibilities
Define and execute the sales strategy for Cyberhill’s services and software offerings
Lead from the front as a hands-on closer while mentoring a growing team of sales professionals
Build scalable sales processes, pipelines, and KPIs to support growth goals
Personally drive strategic deals into at least 15 named enterprise accounts (e.g., Fortune 500 clients)
Navigate complex enterprise sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and long lead times
Develop strong executive relationships within target accounts
Recruit, train, and lead a high-performance sales team aligned with company growth objectives
Foster a culture of accountability, learning, and client obsession
Support sales enablement, including coaching on solution selling, territory management, and client engagement
Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Delivery teams to align go-to-market efforts
Provide input into market positioning, pricing strategies, and customer feedback loops
Track sales performance and present regular forecasts and updates to executive leadership
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in enterprise B2B sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
Proven ability to build and lead sales teams in high-growth services or software environments
Demonstrated success selling professional services, particularly complex data, AI, analytics, or digital transformation solutions
Existing relationships or the ability to rapidly engage decision-makers at named accounts like ExxonMobil, Johnson & Johnson, and other Fortune 500 companies
Deep understanding of solution selling, consultative sales approaches, and enterprise buying cycles
Strong executive presence, communication, and negotiation skills
Expertise in the Data & AI space is required
Comfortable in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment with high standards for performance and accountability
