Director of Program - Snohomish County Diversion Center

Responsibilities
Perform all required management, program planning and coordination, budgeting, financial reporting, program auditing, personnel management, customer relations and other supervisory functions under the administrative and operational supervision of the Director of Reentry, Diversion & Housing
Manage a single site within the assigned geographical region and/or product line, ensuring achievement of operational program objectives, quality care, and budgetary expectations
Responsible for the overall management and direction of the assigned diversion programs, patient/resident and client care services, policies/procedures, allocation of resources, hiring and training, employee relations, employee engagement, clinical programming, collaboration/problem solving with state/county/city and internal PHS stakeholders, business development, and growth and development strategies with a focus on long term value and sustainability for the organization, its specific markets and desired relationships
Serve as the internal expert on the needs and priorities of their region related to serving people with criminal legal system involvement and/or other identified population of focus, and is responsible to promote the Diversion Program mission, vision, and goals through effective leadership and coaching
Communicate, collaborate and coordinate with peers and business partners, medical staff, and other leaders to develop best practices and business process improvements in support of day-to-day operations
Responsible for meeting and exceeding the expectations of our external customers, including the state’s Department of Health, county personnel, Behavioral Health/Mental health treatment providers, court services and legal personnel, community members, insurance companies/payers, and others
Establish program direction and policy, monitor the management of the program’s resources, and the coordination of overall service delivery and personnel administration, including formal evaluation of their direct report’s performance, and ensuring the same of all people leaders within the Diversion program
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Health, Human Services or similar field or equitable years of experience within the field
Must be able to complete all required medical, company and facility contract requirements
At least 10 years' experience in coordinating with county funded programs
At least 10 years of supervisory/leadership experience in the human services, health care, or substance use disorder field
10 years experience in budget preparation, program development, and state licensing
Preferred
Experience in a related healthcare occupation, such as physician or medical assistant
Experience in an administrative position in a healthcare setting, such as ambulatory services or hospital
Bachelors or Masters degree within a related field aligned with our mission
Experience in residential treatment and/or formal training in management/program administration and substance use
