Part-Time Program Manager
Auburn University at Montgomery is a fast-growing university located in Alabama’s vibrant state capital. They are seeking a part-time Program Manager for a U.S. Department of Education grant aimed at increasing the number of teachers trained to work with students with visual impairments and blindness. The Program Manager will oversee project resources, manage communications, and support recruitment and retention efforts.

Responsibilities
Serve as the resource manager for the project which includes ordering and purchasing of materials, ensuring students receive scholarships and stipends
Support the project’s organizational aspects such as collecting documentation from students as needed
Manage the content of the project’s website, collaborate on the development of recruitment materials, and support all aspects of recruitment and retention efforts
Effectively communicate with all students within the project
Support the external evaluator with data collection as applicable
Collaborate on the annual reports to the US Department of Education
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in an office setting
Experience managing financial systems
Experience with organizational tasks
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong financial management skills
Skill in using computer software programs (Microsoft Office Suite)
Excellent organizational skills
Willingness to learn the AUM financial systems
Preferred
Associate's or higher degree
Experience working within higher education or large organizations
