Responsibilities
Research next-generation physics-based simulation methods for design, control, manufacturing, and operations
Integrate optimization and AI/ML techniques into simulation workflows
Develop and support digital twin applications for mechatronics products
Apply knowledge of physical laws such as heat transfer, structures, electrical circuits, fluid dynamics, and electromagnetism
Collaborate with business units to understand customer requirements and technology gaps
Transition research outcomes into product-ready solutions
Present and explain technical results to internal and external stakeholders
Support protection of intellectual property through patents and technical publications
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
Minimum of 4 years of experience in simulation, optimization, and applied AI research or development
Strong experience in Python and C++ programming
Experience working with physics-based simulation methods
Strong communication skills with the ability to work in international project teams
Preferred
Domain knowledge in automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, or building systems
Experience presenting at technical conferences or publishing in journals
Experience with reliability analysis and performance prediction
