Responsibilities

Data ingestion, ETL, and pipeline operations
Develop, implement, and maintain ETL processes to map and load incoming client data into the platform
Define and document ETL mapping rules, transformation logic, and data lineage to support repeatable processing and auditability
Acquire, receive, and track inbound files across multiple formats; confirm expected file delivery and readiness for downstream processing
Monitor daily data feeds and pipeline jobs; identify missing files, failures, and data anomalies
Perform data profiling, validation, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to internal and external requirements
Cleanse and correct data issues by debugging ETL logic, updating mapping rules, and reprocessing as needed
Execute testing and QA across each step of the data processing lifecycle (ingestion through final outputs)
Create and maintain repeatable QA checks and controls to reduce recurring defects and improve pipeline reliability
Collaborate with Technology and cross-functional teams to triage issues, communicate status, and implement sustainable fixes
Perform other job-related duties consistent with the role as assigned

Required

MS/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent preferred
3+ years of experience in data operations, data engineering, or ETL/pipeline support (healthcare data strongly preferred)
Strong SQL skills (or equivalent querying) to validate data, troubleshoot issues, and perform reconciliations
Hands-on experience building and supporting ETL processes (batch file ingestion and transformations)
Experience documenting ETL mappings, transformation logic, and data lineage
Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills; proactive in identifying issues and implementing solutions
Strong understanding of healthcare datasets and workflows, such as: Medical Claims, Rx Claims, clinical data, provider data, and related processing practices
Strong written communication skills, including the ability to clearly document processes and communicate data issues to technical and non-technical partners
Ability to work independently in a remote environment; comfortable collaborating across teams using standard productivity tools (e.g., MS Office)

Preferred

Familiarity with Azure Data Factory (preferred) or similar orchestration tools
Basic knowledge of hospital/acute coding, billing, reimbursement, payer regulations, and medical terminology
