Senior Manager, Client Accounting Services (Philippines)

KeepingCount is a fast-growing, U.S.-based client accounting services firm supporting a wide range of clients with bookkeeping, accounting, tax, and CFO advisory services. They are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager, Client Accounting Services (CPA) to lead a global team of accountants and bookkeepers, overseeing client service delivery and managing international teams while providing technical accounting expertise.

Accounting

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and manage global accounting teams across multiple countries, including the U.S. and the Philippines
Oversee delivery of accounting/bookkeeping services to a wide range of U.S. clients—from entrepreneurs and small businesses to mid-size and large organizations—across diverse industries
Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and client-specific accounting policies
Review and approve complex U.S. accounting transactions and provide technical guidance
Manage workflow in Karbon, ensuring tasks are properly assigned, tracked, and completed
Oversee the use of QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Bill.com, Gusto, and other cloud-based platforms to maximize efficiency
Utilize advanced Excel and Office365 for reporting, dashboards, and analysis
Build and maintain strong client relationships as the primary escalation point and strategic advisor
Partner with U.S. leadership on staffing, client growth, and operational improvements
Develop, document, and enforce best practices, policies, and procedures for scalable service delivery

Required

CPA designation (required)
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 5 years in senior leadership within an accounting or outsourcing firm
Extensive experience working with U.S. clients under U.S. GAAP across multiple industries and company sizes
Proven success managing global teams servicing multiple clients concurrently
Advanced technical proficiency with: Karbon (workflow management), QuickBooks Online (mandatory), NetSuite (preferred), Bill.com, Gusto, Office365, Excel (advanced)
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong leadership, client management, and cross-cultural collaboration skills
