Professor-Medical Engineering
USF College of Nursing is seeking applications for tenure/tenure-track positions in the Department of Medical Engineering. The successful candidate will be an emerging or established leader in biomedical engineering research and will have opportunities to innovate in teaching and expand high-impact research groups.

Responsibilities
Innovate undergraduate and graduate level teaching in biomedical engineering
Develop novel initiatives and expand or assemble high impact research groups
Engage in active externally funded research and superior scholarship
Qualification
Required
An earned Ph.D. from a biomedical engineering, or related engineering or quantitative science discipline(s)
Evidence of potential (Asst) or established (Assoc, Full) national prominence through superior scholarship, active externally funded research, and teaching excellence
Preferred
Emerging or established leader in one of our research emphasis areas (preferred: Biomedical Imaging/ Bioelectronics; Cell/ Tissue Engineering; Neuro/ Rehabilitation Engineering; Molecular Medicine/ Drug Delivery; Biomechanics)
