Procurement Coordinator

They are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Procurement Coordinator to support their Services Delivery team, focusing on the tactical execution of purchasing activities and ensuring accurate data management.

Responsibilities
Transactional Execution: Accurately enter and process a high volume of purchase requisitions and convert them into official purchase orders
Database Maintenance: Perform consistent data entry to keep vendor files, pricing sheets, and procurement logs up to date
Order Tracking: Follow up on open orders to confirm delivery dates and update the Services Delivery team on shipment status
Document Compliance: Administer and file procurement documents (receipts and SOPs) to ensure audit readiness; processing receipt of parts into the system for payment
Communication Support: Act as a reliable point of contact for vendors and internal departments regarding order status and basic pricing inquiries
Process Consistency: Follow established GrayMatter procurement SOPs with high attention to detail to minimize invoice discrepancies
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience in a high-volume data entry, inside sales, or purchasing role (no degree required); OR a bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, or a related field looking to gain foundational experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, basic formulas) and the ability to work comfortably within ERP/Procurement software
A 'workhorse' mentality—comfortable with repetitive tasks and committed to 100% accuracy
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a steady-state environment
