Event Operations Coordinator
US Youth Soccer is the largest youth sport organization in the world, dedicated to growing and supporting the sport of soccer. The Event Operations Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the administration and execution of over 30 annual events, including inventory management, competition scheduling, and on-site operations.

Responsibilities
Warehouse inventory management of apparel, signage, and equipment
Collaborate with different departments and programs in preparation and organization of events
Manage host facility preparation, set-up and take-down for assigned events
Obtain all permits/rentals necessary for assigned events
Coordinate and interact with on-site vendors, merchandisers, and partners
Ensure proper medical services are secured for events as needed
Understand the USYS bylaws and policies
Lead group of staff (contractors, interns, 3rd party management, etc.) in facility set-up and take-down
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Experience in managing multiple projects concurrently with strong attention to detail, problem solving and follow-through
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Ability to work independently
Must be a collaborative team member willing to provide support when and where needed
Strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals, multi-task, and resolve matters effectively
Ability/willingness to work non-traditional hours (weekends/holidays, occasional 12+hr days)
Preferred
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and/or related prior employment experience preferred
Prior work experience within youth sport event administration is preferred
Bilingual language skills are a plus
