Responsibilities

Design and develop mechanical components and systems using SolidWorks from concept through production
Create and execute proof-of-concept prototypes to validate design approaches and mechanical principles
Perform engineering analysis and testing to ensure designs meet functional requirements and specifications
Collaborate with electrical, software, and human factors engineers in multidisciplinary product development
Apply manufacturing knowledge to ensure designs are optimized for production processes
Communicate design concepts and technical solutions to both engineering and non-technical stakeholders

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program with 1-3 years of professional experience
Proficient to expert level 3D CAD skills, particularly with SolidWorks
Background in manufacturing processes for both prototype and production applications
Hands-on experience designing and building proof-of-concept prototypes
Solid theoretical mechanical engineering foundation with practical application skills
Excellent communication abilities with demonstrated skill in presenting technical concepts clearly
Creative problem-solving approach with attention to both big-picture goals and critical details
