CNT Production Assistant Manager

Enchem America INC. is seeking a CNT Production Assistant Manager to support the daily operation and continuous improvement of the carbon nanotube production line. This role involves leading production teams, driving process optimization, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Lead, coordinate, and oversee daily production line operations to ensure safety, quality, and productivity targets are met
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to manufacturing processes, safety, environmental compliance, flexibility, and reliability
Set production goals and monitor performance using key performance indicators (KPIs)
Collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams to ensure compliance with the company’s change management process
Participate in new product launches, assist in establishing new process parameters, and optimize manufacturing performance
Collect, analyze, and present operational data to support cross-functional decision-making
Schedule, train, and supervise Process Technicians and production crews
Promote a strong safety culture by auditing operations, identifying potential hazards, and addressing unsafe conditions promptly
Ensure adherence to all safety, environmental, and quality regulations, policies, and procedures
Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to production staff to support professional development and accountability
Drive equipment reliability and operational efficiency improvements in coordination with maintenance teams
Assign and monitor daily production tasks while maintaining focus on safety, quality, and productivity
Support cross-functional collaboration to resolve process issues and achieve operational objectives

Required

Minimum of three (3) years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and manufacturing systems such as SAP and MES
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and leadership capabilities
Ability to train, motivate, and develop team members effectively
Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, or off-shifts as production demands require
Commitment to maintaining a safe, compliant, and positive work environment

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related scientific or engineering discipline
Minimum of six (6) months of supervisory or team leadership experience
Experience in chemical or advanced material production environments is a plus
