Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions, including but not limited to modules such as IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and IT Business Management (ITBM)
Customize ServiceNow applications and facilitate configuration management of all implemented changes
Develop workflows, scripts, business rules, UI policies, UI actions, client scripts, and notifications
Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs and integration hub
Automate routine tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual efforts
Serve as a technical advisor and lead on ServiceNow projects and initiatives
Provide guidance and mentoring to junior developers and team members
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
Work closely with stakeholders, including business analysts, project managers, and end-users, to gather and understand requirements
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable development tasks
Conduct thorough testing of developed solutions to ensure quality and functionality
Troubleshoot and resolve issues and defects promptly
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides
Generate and present reports on system performance, usage metrics, and project status

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and administration
Secret clearance
Extensive experience with ServiceNow platform capabilities and tools, including scripting, customization, and configuration
Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other relevant programming languages
Strong understanding of ITIL processes and best practices
Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance as required by the client

Preferred

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications
Prior experience working with government or defense clients
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
