Responsibilities

Assists the Deputy Regional Director (DRD) and the Program Support Manager (PSM) in administration of the Region's Vocational Rehabilitation Program budgets, grants and contracts
Researches and analyzes statistical data
Dispatches customer and provider inquiries for response
Develops and maintains tracking systems for the program support team
Coordinates performance appraisal systems with the PSM
Safeguards confidential information
Assists in the coordination of delivery of the required regional reports from the Program Support Team to the DRD
Assists in coordination of needed correspondence, travel planning and processing, calendaring and other needed supports for the DRD and the PSM and Team
Coordinates with the Assistant to the Director, as needed
Performs other duties as assigned

Required

Graduation from an accredited high school or successful completion of GED certification
Four years of full-time experience in a responsible position that provided thorough knowledge of administrative support functions and office practices and procedures, or clerical administration and business management practices, such as preparation, maintenance, and control of forms, records, and reports
Fifteen semester hours of accredited college work may be substituted for each six months of the required experience
Ability to lift/carry 10 pounds
Duties may include up to 15% travel (within the State of Texas)
Must be a Texas resident or willing to relocate to Texas
TWC is not considering applications from individuals who require sponsorship for an employment visa
