The internship offers hands-on experience in developing enterprise data products, contributing to data pipelines, and enhancing data quality while working closely with mentors and other interns.

Responsibilities

Assist with building and validating data pipelines in the lakehouse environment

Support ingestion standardization by reviewing schemas, quality rules, and pipeline outputs

Perform data profiling to identify anomalies, gaps, and improvement opportunities

Help evaluate AI/ML model outputs or monitoring dashboards (as applicable)

Summarize lessons learned, best practices, and enablement content for broader team use

Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)

Databricks Lakehouse Fundamentals

Foundational knowledge of data engineering concepts, including SQL, data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and cloud platforms

Experience with Python for data manipulation, scripting, or basic automation

Familiarity with cloud data ecosystems such as Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, or AWS

At least 18 years of age

Legally authorized to work in the United States

High School Diploma or GED

Must be actively enrolled in a degree program or graduated within the last year

Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for internships

Benefits

Relocation may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location.
