Responsibilities
Produce a comprehensive "independent" fraud risk assessment of Nelo
Launch an experiment that successfully reduces first payment default rate by a specified amount
Reduce the risk of an unmitigated, especially programmatic fraud attack to a negligible amount due to controls put in place
Develop a system that generates repeatable intelligence and decisions from a manual fraud case review feedback loop
Qualification
Required
English required
At least two years of experience in LATAM-based consumer lending fraud mitigation, or be able to fluently speak Spanish
Strong opinions about what should be improved and the ability to autonomously act to achieve those improvements
Advanced SQL proficiency
Ability to persuade team members to accept or do things that they don't like but that are essential to the company's health
Legitimate concern about new threat vectors and potential fraud losses
Preferred
Fluently speak Spanish
Having both experience in LATAM-based consumer lending fraud mitigation and fluency in Spanish provides a strong advantage
