Product Data Management Engineer (Mid-Level or Senior)

Responsibilities

Lead PDM/CM processes and continuous improvement across programs
Own software configuration control, baselines, and change lifecycle (ECR/ECP)
Establish and enforce data governance, naming, and traceability standards
Coordinate data flow between engineering, manufacturing, IT, suppliers, and programs
Configure and support PLM/PDM/CM tools
Maintain configuration baselines for major milestones
Promote digital engineering practices to improve data integrity and automation
Monitor data health with metrics and lead corrective actions
Mentor junior CM/data engineers and provide process/tool training
Support audits and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements
Manage supplier data exchanges and release reconciliation
Participate in program reviews and communicate CM/data status and risks

Required

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. A final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
3+ years of experience in product data management, configuration management, or related discipline
Practical experience with PDM/PLM/CM tools (e.g., Teamcenter, Windchill, ENOVIA)
Knowledge of software configuration management
Experience with data governance, naming conventions, and traceability practices
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with suppliers and IT
Strong problem-solving skills and experience using metrics/dashboards to drive improvements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

Active U.S. Security Clearance
5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
NDIA Certification
