Responsibilities
Defines project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
Effectively communicates project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
Liaises with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis
Sets and continually manages project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
Plans and schedules project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
Tracks project milestones and deliverables
Determines the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyzes results, and troubleshoots problem areas
Defines project success criteria and disseminates them to involved parties throughout project life cycle
Conducts project post mortems and creates a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
Develops best practices and tools for project execution and management
Estimates the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
Drafts and submits budget proposals, and recommends subsequent budget changes where necessary
Where required, negotiates with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company
Determines and assesses need for additional staff and/or consultants and makes the appropriate recruitments if necessary during project cycle
Directs and manages project development from beginning to end
Develops full-scale project plans and associated communications documents
Delegates tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
Identifies and resolves issues and conflicts within the project team
Identifies and manages project dependencies and critical path
Develops and delivers progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
Proactively manages changes in project scope, identifies potential crises, and devises contingency plans
Coaches, mentors, motivates and supervises project team members and contractors, and influences them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
Builds, develops, and grows any business relationships vital to the success of the project
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or GED- required
Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or Related field- required
OR seven (7) years' experience as team lead responsible for project planning and management- required
Six (6) years direct work experience in a project management capacity and/or a position that requires constant project management, including all aspects of product development and execution- required
Five (5) years of product development related work experience in gaming or gambling industry- required
Five (5) years working in and managing SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) - required
Strong familiarity with project management software, such as jira and confluence
Competent and proficient with computer software such as Microsoft (Excel, Viso, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and Adobe (photoshop)
Demonstrated experience in personnel management
Strong understanding of project management principles; Strong leadership skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills; Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to conduct and direct research into product development as required
Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
Highly self-motivated and directed; Keen attention to detail
Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Exceptional customer service orientation; Extensive experience working in both independently and team-oriented, collaborative environment
Flexible to work odd and irregular hours including holidays, promotions and weekends when needed
Physically able to participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings
Some travel may be required for the purpose of meeting with clients, stakeholders, or off-site personnel/management

Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently

Must have a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this position
Must have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment
