Research Intern
Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is advancing imaging and radiation methods in the Department of Radiation Oncology, focusing on innovative treatment techniques and clinical outcomes research. This internship supports clinical cancer outcomes research in cardio-oncology, allowing the intern to gain hands-on experience in patient data collection, radiation treatment planning, and clinical outcomes analysis.

Responsibilities
Review research background and study objectives with mentor
Participate in research planning, preparation, execution, and evaluation
Conduct chart reviews and collect patient clinical data
Extract radiation dose information from treatment planning systems
Perform literature reviews to support research aims
Analyze and interpret clinical data
Prepare data summaries, presentations, and research posters
Communicate findings effectively through oral and written formats
Qualification
Required
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must have a HS Diploma or GED
Must reside in the greater Los Angeles area or surrounding cities while conducting all activities related to the intern or visitor appointment
INTERNS: Those participating for academic credit must receive academic credit for the duration of the internship
VISITORS: Must be receiving funding from an eligible sponsoring institution (employer, educator, funder, etc.)
