Design new test suites by applying automation best practices to legacy manual test plans
Create automated tests during a sprint to reflect new features that will need to be regressed with subsequent releases
Perform exploratory testing on new features and coordinate with other QA team members
Document results of automated test suites in Jira tickets
Communicate findings to developers effectively
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
Multiple years of experience building test automation suites from scratch for front-end and API testing
Proficiency in Java and TypeScript/JavaScript
Experience with automation frameworks and UI testing tools like Playwright or Cypress
Solid understanding of API testing methodologies and automation principles
