Responsibilities

Perform boundary, topographic, and construction layout surveys

Operate and maintain total stations, GPS/GNSS receivers, and data collectors

Establish and verify control points and coordinate systems

Collect accurate field data and maintain detailed survey notes and sketches

Conduct site reconnaissance and prepare for daily field tasks

Process field data and assist with drafting or deliverable preparation as needed

Read and interpret engineering plans, specifications, and survey maps

Perform as-built surveys and verify construction alignments and elevations

Support UAV/aerial survey operations, including ground control setup

Ensure proper care, calibration, and inventory of survey equipment

Apply safety practices and follow company procedures at all job sites

Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and crew members

Travel to various project sites as required

Qualification

Surveyor-in-Training LicenseRemote Pilot certificationTotal stations proficiencyGPS/GNSS systems proficiencyAutoCAD Civil 3DSurveying equipment managementConstruction plans interpretationField notes documentationBasic geodesy knowledgeBasic computer software

Required

Bachelor's Degree

3-5 years of experience in surveying

Must possess a Surveyor‐in‐Training License and Remote Pilot certification

Ability to perform boundary, topographic, and construction layout surveys

Proficiency with total stations, GPS/GNSS systems, and data collectors

Experience managing surveying equipment (GNSS, total stations, digital levels)

Ability to read and interpret construction plans and survey maps

Strong understanding of field notes, sketches, and survey documentation

Familiarity with basic geodesy, coordinate systems, and control procedures

Experience in aerial surveying

Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D

Working knowledge of CAD or survey processing software

Proficient with basic computer software

Valid driver's license
