The role will be instrumental in delivering their 5 year commercial strategy in the specialist Animal/Pet Ingredients division, focusing on driving sales and profit growth through effective category management strategies and strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute effective Ingredient category management strategies to drive sales and profit growth for the business
Analyse market trends, customer insights and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to maximize sales potential
Build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders to ensure the business is meeting their needs and driving customer satisfaction
Manage and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets and KPIs
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal departments to ensure alignment and collaboration across the business
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective marketing campaigns and product launches

Required

Proven experience as a Sales Director within the B2B Food Ingredients
Experience in the Animal/Pet Nutrition industry (an advantage)
Excellent leadership skills

Ability to motivate and manage a large team (10+)
Strong knowledge of category management strategies across Ingredients
Track record of driving growth through effective implementation
