New Grad, Entry LevelDigital Collegium is seeking a Sponsorship Coordinator to manage conference sponsors after they are signed. The role focuses on ensuring sponsor benefits are delivered and serving as the primary on-site contact for sponsors during the regional conference.

Responsibilities
Facilitate an environment that encourages knowledge of, respect for, and development of skills to engage with those of other cultures or backgrounds
Serve as a member of the association’s Sponsorship Committee to coordinate sponsorships across the organization
This is not a sponsorship sales position. Focus of the role is customer service and communication with signed sponsors and oversight of the exhibit area at the regional conference
Work with the sponsorship committee chair to provide sponsorship leads and contact information for any local sponsors
Coordinate with the regional conference committee about event sponsorship activities
Serves as the primary point of contact for regional conference sponsors, ensuring timely communication and coordination of exhibits
Work closely with event organizers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of sponsorship activities onsite during the event
Advocate to ensure sponsors are considered, included and promoted as part of the event
Ensure materials (signage, slides, etc.) are developed to recognize sponsors at the conference
Communicate with sponsors regarding onsite needs, loading area; parking; shipping and other logistics
Coordinate exhibit hall set up, ensuring there is adequate vendor display space; tables, chairs and other deliverables are in place, and spaces have been assigned
Manage and communicate sponsor giveaways and promotions
Work with programming leads to coordinate scheduling of sponsor sessions
Request support from the Sponsorship Committee as needed to deliver sponsor benefits
Assist with conference setup
Attend all committee meetings
Ensure proper setup of the vendor display area
Ensure sponsors are situated in their assigned spaces
Act as facilitator during sponsor setup and takedown when the conference is on-site
Report on sponsorship program, post-event, with summary and goal evaluation
Qualification
Required
Membership in the association, which can be fulfilled at application. (Free general membership for higher education professionals would meet this requirement.)
High level of communication skills
Flexibility and quick thinking with the ability to multi-task and resolve problems
Must be conscientious and have the ability to follow through with details
