Responsibilities
Operate GPS-controlled blade/dozer equipment to meet strict grade, slope, and elevation specifications
Perform real-time grade verification and make field adjustments as conditions change
Set up, verify, and troubleshoot GPS machine control systems (Trimble preferred)
Work from approved plans, survey data, and 3D models to ensure layout accuracy
Coordinate with field crews, surveyors, and project managers to resolve grade or alignment issues
Support concrete pours and site preparation by ensuring grades are correct before and during placement
Qualification
Required
Proven, hands-on experience operating blades/dozers on civil, concrete, or earthwork projects
Strong GPS machine control experience (not limited exposure)
Ability to independently run grade-critical equipment without constant supervision
Comfortable reading and interpreting construction drawings, elevations, and site plans
Ability to work full-time in the field on active job sites
Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to communicate clearly with field leadership
Preferred
Set up, verify, and troubleshoot GPS machine control systems (Trimble preferred)
