Water/Wastewater Engineer

They are seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer to develop design alternatives, assist with project documentation, and collaborate with various stakeholders on multi-disciplinary projects.

Responsibilities
Develop sketches, diagrams, design alternatives, calculations, and permitting and construction drawings under the supervision of an experienced civil engineer
Assist with activities related to project scope, schedule, budgets, documentation, submittals, quality, communications, and disciplines coordination
Work with MEP, Structural Engineering and Architecture Departments on multi-disciplinary projects for NYCDEP and NYCT
Attend project/client meetings
Assist with report writing and development of contract documents
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on project deliverables
Qualification
Required
BS, Civil Engineering; MS desirable
5+ years' experience in planning and design of multi-disciplinary engineering projects, including civil-site and water/wastewater/stormwater related infrastructure
Working knowledge of standard engineering software, e.g., AutoCAD and Civil 3D, H&H modelling, and MicroStation a plus
Strong analytical and communications skills
Engineer-In-Training (EIT) License required
Ability to work independently and as part of multidisciplinary engineering teams
Preferred
NYCDEP experience preferred
