Responsibilities
Serve as the trusted, expert advisor and thought leader to Early Stage and Seed-focused Venture Capital General Partners, acting as the eyes and ears of Google Cloud within VC funds
Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to design and deliver exceptional events, content and offers to VCs and startups
Empower VCs and startups to fully utilize Google Cloud and Google products
Engage the assigned portfolio of VC firms to drive pipeline and business growth opportunities for Google Cloud in partnership with the Startup Success and Business Teams
Plan regular reviews with VCs on their respective portfolios
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
10 years of experience in business development in the enterprise software or cloud space
Experience with early stage startup community and tech ecosystem
Preferred
Experience as a founder, early-stage operator, or technical investor within the enterprise software/cloud ecosystem
Ability to form working relationships across technical and business functions in multiple companies
Ability to create compelling Return on Investment (ROI) value propositions
Ability to embrace ambiguity and adapt quickly to changing demands of the business
Excellent business development skills, with a demonstrated track record of managing multiple complex, evolving projects in parallel
Excellent collaborating skills, and ability to collaborate cross-functionally and drive other stakeholders without reporting authority
