Responsibilities
Design, develop, analyze, and troubleshoot engineering solutions during research and product development
Provide technical input for system, process, facility, or program improvements related to safety, performance, efficiency, and cost
Support technical planning, system integration, verification, and validation activities
Evaluate design alternatives including cost, risk, and supportability considerations
Work in small teams to complete real-world medical device engineering projects
Participate in engineering talks, training sessions, and guest lectures
Attend professional development and career-focused workshops
Receive mentorship from both a manager and a technical engineer
Collaborate with peers who share an interest in healthcare innovation
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in or pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or a related discipline
Authorization to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
Current high school seniors graduating in Spring 2026 or first-year college students enrolled in or pursuing science or engineering programs
Expected college graduation date of Spring 2029 or Spring 2030
Must be at least 18 years old at the start of the internship
