Senior Systems Engineer (Onsite)
Collins Aerospace is a leader in aerospace technology, seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to develop system designs for mission-critical systems. The role focuses on analyzing customer needs and requirements to design, develop, and validate hardware and software systems for military applications.

Responsibilities
Capture, analyze, decompose, and trace System requirements
Design, develop, and model systems and sub-systems
Develop and verify test procedures at the system and sub-system levels
Plan project level work and meet schedule, cost, and performance goals
Manage program technical risks by evaluating requirements and design aspects
Interact with a cross-functional team of (including, but not limited to) Engineers, Engineering leaders, Program Managers, Business Developers, Finance, Quality, and Production
Represent Systems engineering team at internal and external stakeholder meetings
Travel occasionally (<10%) to support program requirements
Qualification
Required
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain Top Secret after start
Experience developing, decomposing, and deriving system/sub-system requirements
Experience with Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) concepts and tools
Experience in system/sub-system design definition
Preferred
VLF, LF, HF, V/UHF, and/or MILSATCOM
SysML implementation via Cameo/MagicDraw/Rhapsody
