Responsibilities
Perform physical therapy evaluations and treatments based on physician referrals
Complete comprehensive assessments using appropriate tools and techniques
Review patient medical history, diagnoses, precautions, and contraindications
Develop measurable goals and individualized treatment plans
Reassess patient progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as needed
Communicate patient progress and care needs with the interdisciplinary team, physicians, and family members as appropriate
Recommend and assist with adaptive equipment to improve patient function
Maintain timely and accurate evaluation, treatment, and billing documentation in compliance with company, state, and federal regulations
Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Physical Therapy Aides in accordance with state practice acts
Participate in staff development, meetings, and continuing education to maintain and enhance clinical skills
Qualification
Required
Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days
Active Georgia Physical Therapist license or eligibility through compact licensure
Ability to work onsite
Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills
Preferred
Experience with Homecare Homebase (HCHB)
OASIS experience preferred (not required)
