Automotive Title & Registration Specialist / Accounting Support
Scranton Motors, Inc. is a family-owned dealership committed to providing a supportive work environment. They are seeking an experienced Title Clerk to process vehicle registrations, maintain title records, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.

Responsibilities
Process new and used vehicle registrations and submit documentation to the DMV
Complete all out-of-state vehicle registrations
Review, correct, and resolve title and registration discrepancies
Process wholesale title paperwork
Communicate with banks regarding trade payoffs and lien releases
Maintain title and Certificate of Origin (CO) records and complete monthly inventory
Perform monthly Connecticut plate inventory and reorder as needed
Reconcile and submit monthly warranty remittances
Maintain related accounting schedules and records
Complete daily filing and document organization
Work closely with the Sales Department and management teams
Adhere to company standards and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
Perform additional administrative and office duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum 1-2 years of DMV/title experience in an automotive dealership environment, but willing to train the right candidate
Working knowledge of Reynolds & Reynolds dealership management system
Experience working with management teams
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Self-starter with a strong sense of accountability
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
