Responsibilities
Produces and proofs correspondence, documents, and other related forms. Maintains files according to organizational/departmental procedures
Receives and screens visitors and telephone calls, and either notifies staff members or records and relays messages
Plan, organizes, and distributes supplies as needed
Processes incoming /outgoing mail according to organizational/departmental procedures
Resolves customer requests, complaints, and problems or refers them appropriately
Maintains an effective workflow system of assigned area. Resolves administrative issues and flags issues that require immediate attention by management
May serve as unit timekeeper and petty cash custodian
Maintains professional behavior and provides excellent customer service to both staff and consumers
Demonstrates ethical conduct, professionalism, and confidentiality in all activities. Complies with Agency policy and procedures
Adapts to changing working requirements. Flexible to meet ongoing needs of the Agency
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or GED
Entry-level opportunity
Motivated, self-starter with the ability to work within a fast-paced environment
Good interpersonal and public relations skills required
Solid analytical, creative and problem-solving abilities
Able to work well independently
Preferred
Previous experience with filing, organizing, scheduling and typing
