Responsibilities
Prepare designs and analysis calculations and reports for various types of bridges and other transportation related structures
Prepare and run models, analyse and evaluate results using engineering software
Prepare specifications and engineer’s estimates
Collaborate with colleagues from various fields to address engineering issues effectively
Perform site visits and inspections and prepare photos, notes, and/or reports as required
Qualification
Required
Hold a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or higher with concentration in structures
0 to 4 years of work experience in Structural Engineering
Either have passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) or be willing to take and pass FE within 1 year after hiring
Engage in professional associations and be able and willing to learn
Exhibit a keen eye for detail and possess effective reasoning and decision-making abilities
Possess good analytical, planning and organizational skills combined with the ability to manage several tasks efficiently
Be familiar with various structural analysis software programs
Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
