Account Manager

They are seeking an Account Manager to lead client relationships, manage projects, and shape memorable experiences for pharmaceutical and healthcare clients while identifying growth opportunities and mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary contact for pharma and healthcare clients, managing day-to-day communications and ensuring seamless delivery
Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop and execute congress and medical event strategies
Manage budgets, timelines, and expectations with precision and attention to detail
Provide strategic insights and proactive solutions that add value and elevate the client experience
Oversee delivery of pharma congresses and medical trade shows, including pre-event planning, shipping, on-site production, and post-event reporting
Develop detailed project plans, coordinate vendor relationships, and ensure all event elements align with client objectives and regulatory requirements
Maintain comprehensive documentation: work orders, schedules, briefs, and operational checklists
Liaise with venues, associations, and compliance teams to secure approvals and ensure adherence to industry regulations
Build strong, long-term relationships with key client stakeholders in pharma and healthcare
Identify opportunities within existing accounts and support new business development initiatives
Contribute to proposals, brainstorm sessions, and strategic presentations to win new business
Monitor client budgets, forecasts, and invoicing to ensure accuracy and profitability
Maintain oversight of all program components in quotes and billing while delivering exceptional service
Mentor and support junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices
Foster a collaborative, positive team culture in a fast-paced environment
Support problem-solving and issue resolution across project teams

Required

3+ years of account management experience, ideally within pharma, medical, or healthcare events, or in an experiential marketing/agency setting
Passion for client service and building lasting relationships with healthcare stakeholders
Strong project management skills — confident managing timelines, budgets, and expectations
Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills, with the ability to present complex scientific content clearly
Solutions-oriented mindset and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including creative, production, regulatory, and logistics
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Willingness to travel (~20%) for client meetings, event installations, and congress support
