Senior Manager-Digital Product Management
American Express is a leading payment card issuer for corporations and small businesses, and they are seeking a Senior Manager for Digital Product Management within their Global Commercial Services team. Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end product development and delivery of initiatives in the BLOC product journey, focusing on the management of a customer’s acquisition journey
Drive collaboration with engineering, product strategy, marketing and other cross-functional team members to align requirements, determine implementation approaches, and deliver high impact initiatives
Manage initiatives across multiple Engineering scrum teams, defining user stories & test criteria, influencing sprint plans, and ensuring quality delivery
Ensure operational soundness and regulatory compliance across the existing customer journeys, functionality, and processes
Partner with Servicing, Operations, Compliance, and Control teams to resolve customer issues and address platform breakdowns
Document business architecture and product functionality to ensure clarity, alignment, and knowledge sharing
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and coaching team members while modeling execution excellence
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in product management, platform development, or related roles within financial services or engineering teams
Proven track record in leading large product initiatives from concept to execution
A balance of technical knowledge and business acumen with experience working with engineers and partners on large, complex production systems in an agile environment
Strong relationship & communication skills to influence decision making and communicate at multiple organizational levels
Experience defining and delivering product roadmaps, managing multiple priorities while adapting to evolving business needs
Strong analytical skills with experience using data and research to guide decision-making and issue resolution
Proficiency in documenting business solutions to ensure a clear understanding of platform capabilities and their role in product development
Familiarity with agile methodologies and product development frameworks
High personal accountability and leads with a customer first mindset
Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related field
