Responsibilities
Perform weldments with exceptional appearance on various materials
Engage in inter-piping tasks, including fitting, aligning, and adjustments
Operate hand-welding and flame-cutting equipment such as an oxyacetylene torch
Read blueprints and drawings to identify welding measurements and positions
Troubleshoot product issues with assistance
Monitor equipment operation to ensure proper heat settings and weld tips
Perform preventative maintenance on weld machines
Utilize a variety of air and electric hand tools
Assist in training Welder I and II
Conduct leak tests
Operate a crane forklift
Ensure compliance with safety protocols by wearing protective gear
Maintain an organized and clean work area
Perform additional duties such as weld assembly and laser weld pans
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in TIG welding with around 3 years of experience, which may include schooling
Experience with thin gauge metals and pipe welding techniques
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Experience welding with aluminum and stainless steel
Familiarity with MIG, ARC welding, and torch cutting
Preferred
6G Certifications
Experience with pressure vessels
Vocational schooling in welding
