Responsibilities

Spot outbound trucks into material load docks and ensure proper use of dock-locks
Reclaim off-quality unbonded loosefill material and refeed it into the forehearth
Place bags on bagger equipment snouts to ensure proper packaging of finished goods
Perform general cleanup duties including sweeping floors, cleaning production lines or robots, and maintaining break rooms
Assist with preventative maintenance processes as directed
Perform special tasks as assigned by plant staff
Participate in plant safety, housekeeping, and continuous improvement programs
Relieve other operators for breaks as needed

Required

Ability to read, write, and speak English
Ability to understand verbal and written instructions
Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to perform intermediate mathematical calculations

Preferred

Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
