Responsibilities

Schedule surgical procedures for a retina/ophthalmology practice, including:
Retrobulbar injections
Retina reattachment surgeries
Vitrectomies
Coordinate surgery dates, times, and required documentation
Obtain insurance authorizations and assist with related revenue cycle tasks
Communicate with physicians, staff, and patients regarding scheduling and pre-procedure requirements
Maintain accurate and organized scheduling and authorization records

Required

1-2 years of surgery scheduling experience (this is a must!)
Strong organizational and communication skills
