This role is a key contributor to both project management and field operations, ensuring successful project delivery and exposure to large-scale civil work.

Responsibilities
Support project planning, scheduling, and daily coordination activities
Prepare, review, and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
Provide technical support to field teams and assist with constructability reviews
Monitor project progress, quantities, and production rates
Track costs and assist with budget control and reporting
Coordinate material procurement and subcontractor support
Ensure work complies with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements
Assist in resolving design issues and construction challenges in collaboration with project stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
3+ years of experience supporting heavy civil construction projects (highway, bridge, utilities, infrastructure)
Strong ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents
Experience with project controls and scheduling tools (Primavera P6 or similar)
Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in both field and office environments
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven construction setting
Preferred
DOT and public infrastructure project experience
Familiarity with safety standards, environmental compliance, and quality control processes
Exposure to estimating, cost tracking, and change management
