Business Development Manager
Klarna is seeking a strategic and solution-oriented Business Development Manager to join their Partner Success Teams. In this role, you will work with Klarna’s largest merchants to uncover growth opportunities and deliver scalable solutions while managing key relationships and conducting market research.

Responsibilities
Build and execute jointly agreed-upon business plans with partners or merchants to drive mutual growth and success
Deliver enhancements to existing brands and identify areas for improvement with key strategic partners
Work closely with internal analysts, delivery, and marketing teams at Klarna to drive enablement and lead generation activities
Identify new partnerships or business opportunities, pitch Klarna’s services, and close new deals, upsells, and expansion opportunities
Build strong relationships at both the executive and individual levels
Manage key internal and external stakeholder relationships, including C-suite
Conduct extensive market research to position Klarna optimally
Network effectively with local clients and develop strong professional relationships
Ensure deadlines are met and budgets are maintained
Create and deliver Quarterly Business Reviews to members of merchants’ C-suite teams
Adapt the business model to be culturally relevant without losing its identity
Play an important role in taking Klarna to the next level
Qualification
Required
5+ years in Business Development, Account Management, or Sales
Experience in retail, payments, technology, and/or ecommerce
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Highly driven with a passion for learning about and engaging with new cultures
Desire to build a business from the ground up
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Thrive in an environment that values ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Preferred
Advanced degree or relevant certification
Experience with international markets and cross-cultural communication
Proficiency in multiple languages
Experience with CRM tools and data analysis software
