Responsibilities
Design and engineer facility systems: utility, plumbing, HVAC, compressed air, steam, pumps, process heating, industrial piping, high/low-pressure water, wastewater, and other subsystems
Develop calculations, layouts, AutoCAD 2D drawings, and Revit 3D models for all mechanical and plumbing systems
Lead and mentor a team of mechanical engineers, ensuring high-quality deliverables
Perform field evaluations and gather required site information (15–20% travel)
Collaborate with clients, vendors, and other engineering disciplines
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specification
Continuously improve processes through feedback and innovation
Qualification
Required
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
PE required
7+ years of experience in mechanical system design, including utility, plumbing, and HVAC for industrial or food & beverage facilities
Proficient in reading specifications, performing calculations, and producing detailed designs
Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills
Strong work ethic and commitment to quality
