Head of Fund Finance, Americas

Responsibilities
To maximize customer profitability from alternatively managed fund relationships, originate, lead, structure, execute and distribute fund finance transactions including but not limited to (i) subscription financing (ii) Fund level Hybrid and NAV financing (iii) GP financing
Growth of revenue year on year for Fund Finance business, showcasing ability to drive success through effective strategy and execution
Strengthen relationships with Fund clients, securing multiple lead mandates, with a client-focused approach to continue to establish SCB as a trusted partner in the market.Setting up and maintaining the necessary business infrastructure for growth, to help SCB become a market leader in the fund finance space
As a representative of SCB in the Americas, active Industry Engagement in Fund Finance external market, to continue to raise SCB's profile
Cross-Functional Collaboration with various teams, including Credit, Legal, FSIG, and others, ensuring a seamless approach to deal origination and execution
Achieve the quantitative and qualitative performance objectives set for the fund finance business
Act as the key contact for Americas Fund Finance business
Originate, lead, structure syndicated facilities, where SCB acts as the Lead Arranger, with multiple market participants. Transactions fit the overall fund finance mandate for Fund clients
Cultivate client relationships & prospect new financing opportunities through premier product & solution offering
Develop new product and new structures to meet client needs and market trends
Represent SCB Fund Finance in the marketplace; and has an active role in the Fund Finance Association, which includes key clients, banks, legal counsel, etc
Establish and develop relationships with key stakeholders and relevant segment and product partners to efficiently and effectively deliver the product to our clients; maximize return by cross selling to other product groups
Monitor and oversee the global portfolio; ensure fund finance business conforms to the Global Underwriting Guidelines, the relevant Product Program, and all policies and procedures. Responsible for actively managing Americas portfolio, in line with the Bank’s Originate and Distribute strategy

Successfully lead the Fund Finance Americas team, focusing on onboarding, training, and career development. Foster a high-performing team culture, resulting in the professional growth of team members
Balance financial performance with strong risk mitigation and compliance-driven culture
Assume accountability for credit risk of subscription finance and other fund finance transactions in conjunction with GAMs and coverage teams
Establish Operating Procedure for Fund Finance business
Adherence to Group’s policies and procedures
Ensure business model adheres to SCB values
Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct
