Responsibilities
Serve as the primary field lead for mobile repair operations in the region
Oversee workflow planning, prioritization, and service call assignments
Perform advanced troubleshooting and repairs on airframe, engine, and systems
Provide on-site guidance to technicians and apprentices
Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on piston aircraft (Lycoming, Continental)
Complete AOG troubleshooting and recovery
Perform functional checks, tests, and run-ups
Ensure maintenance documentation meets regulatory and company standards
Act as primary customer contact during on-site visits
Explain findings, repair steps, and recommendations
Represent the company professionally at all times
Ensure adherence to CARs/FAA standards, AMMs, and ICAs
Audit documentation from technicians and apprentices
Maintain safe work practices in the field
Support continuous improvement of field procedures and training
Qualification
Required
Valid A&P License (or equivalent experience accepted regionally)
5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience, including piston-engine platforms
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Valid driver's license with clean driving record
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors
Ability to work independently, and under time pressure
Preferred
Experience with Diamond, Cirrus, Piper, or Cessna piston aircraft
Prior experience in a field/mobile service role
Prior supervisory or lead experience
