Responsibilities
Direct management of a team of project managers/ engineers responsible for cross-functional coordination, design and oversight of data centre network and capacity growth projects in a given region to deliver on on-time delivery and cycle time goals
Hire, coach and develop a team of Network Engineers to meet objectives
Work with direct reports and partner teams to set and implement short term and long-term infrastructure delivery strategy for the region
Own and nurture relationships between cross-functional teams. Deliver effective execution at scale within large, multi-project programs. Define and develop cross-team roles, expectations, and responsibilities
Drive process development and iterative optimization and manage career development and aid in personal growth of a team of dynamic, driven, network engineers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
8 years of experience in program management
5 years of experience in leadership role with/without direct reports
Preferred
8 years of experience managing cross-functional/team projects
5 years of experience in management of Network Engineers, or in technical program management delivery teams in a telecom or data centre infrastructure space/environment
Experience working in organizational settings (e.g., shared accountability, geographic dispersion, ambiguity, etc.)
Familiarity with data center, networking, or telecom operations
