Responsibilities
Provide Tier 3 support for complex network incidents and minimize downtime
Implement network configuration changes, including VLAN updates, switchport changes, and routing adjustments
Use network monitoring tools (Solarwinds, Cisco Catalyst Center) to resolve performance issues
Manage Palo Alto firewalls and security policies through Panorama
Maintain IP address and DNS records via BlueCat IPAM
Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure network performance for business applications
Work on projects within Agile methodology using JIRA
Maintain detailed documentation for network configurations and troubleshooting
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience as a Network Engineer in a large enterprise
Expert knowledge of Cisco networking technologies, including: Cisco Catalyst 9300, 9400, 9500, 9600 series switches
Cisco Nexus data center platforms
Strong CLI configuration and troubleshooting skills
Routing protocols: EIGRP and BGP
VRF‐lite for extended security segmentation
Basic Cisco Wireless support (verifying trunking/connectivity for Client)
Strong experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama management
Familiarity with firewall concepts, NAT, VPNs, and security policies
Experience with BlueCat IPAM for IP address and DNS management
Knowledge of Solarwinds and Cisco Catalyst Center for monitoring and management
Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools
Experience in Agile environments using JIRA
Strong problem‐solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team
Excellent communication skills for working with technical and non‐technical stakeholders
Preferred
Cisco CCNA/CCNP
Palo Alto PCNSE
Experience with Python for network automation
Knowledge of Cisco Catalyst Center Automation and integrations (e.g., Slack bot for VLAN changes)
